 With his accession to power in Turkey in 2002, the head of the regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, tried to expand his influence in the region, so his eyes turned to the Arab countries, taking advantage of their political and economic crises to achieve his ambitions.  A refuge for the activities of those parties and their institutions, such as the Brotherhood and many other organizations.
