​​​​​​​Kurdistan Democratic Party West Kurdistan: "Operation Oath" preserves the security ,safety of the region

The General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement on July 31, in which it announced the launch of the “Oath Operation” against the spies and agents working for the Turkish occupation. The operation began in the cities of (Qamishlo, Tal Tamer, al-Hasakah, Shaddadi, Deir-ez-Zor, Raqqa, Manbij and Kobani), during which 36 agents and spies were arrested, and the operation is still ongoing.

It was necessary to start "Oath Operation”

In this regard, member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in West Kurdistan, Rafiq Ibrahim, confirmed that it was necessary to launch the “Oath Operation” by the Syrian Democratic Forces, especially after the Turkish occupation state escalated its attacks on North and East Syria and its targeting of national figures, to preserve on the security and stability of the region.

Ibrahim pointed out that "these agents and spies worked to share information with the Turkish occupation state, to set plans to target the people, especially national figures, and as a result, some of those plans were implemented and led to the martyrdom of national and leading figures."

Ibrahim called on the people of North and East Syria and the political parties to support the Syrian Democratic Forces, so that the "Oath Operation” would achieve the best results for the benefit of society.

Special war is used to create strife

Ibrahim referred to the special means of war in North and East Syria, and said: "The Turkish occupation, in its own war on society, primarily targets the group closest to the democratic project."

He added that the Turkish occupation state uses spies and agents to achieve its occupation goals in the region, "after the Turkish occupation failed to obtain the green light from the international community to launch attacks on North and East Syria, it resorted to planting spies and agents from the people of the region within the ranks of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the institutions of Democratic Autonomous Administration.”

At the end of his speech, a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Rafiq Ibrahim, stressed the need to "take care and beware of these spies, and if someone is suspected, they should inform the concerned authorities immediately."
