Internal Security Forces removes remnants of ISIS mortarts in Raqqa

The Internal Security Forces has removed several remains of ISIS`s mortars in Raqqa and called on the people to immediately report to them if they are to find suspicious objects.

The Internal Security Forces released a satement on their official website and shared the following information: “On Wendesday, August 3, our forces removed some remnants of the DAESH terrorist organization in the city of Raqqa.

After our forces received a report on suspicious objects from the al-Barazi roundabout, Engineer Teams were quickly dispatched to the site, and our forces created a security cordon around the site in order to protect the citizens from danger and pulled them away from the area.

The engineer team investigated the suspicious ojects and it was determined that the objects were remnants of mortars coming from the DAESH terrorist organization. The remnants were removed before they could cause any damage.

In order to keep our people safe, we call on the people to immediately report to the closest security office of our forces if they find suspicious objects.”
