Turkey deports more than 4 thousand Syrian refugees in 5 months.

Last May, the president of the Turkish occupation state, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, announced the project of settling 1 million Syrian refugees in the occupied regions.

This received a wide rejection in North and East Syria in general. After Erdogan`s announcement, the Turkish occupation state began deporting large number of Syrian refugees.

Our agency quoted local sources, that the number of deported Syrian refugees to the occupied canton of Gire Spi has reached 4181 refugees in the last 5 months. Some of them have been deported with their families according to local sources, and all of them are settlers from " Idlib, Homs, and Eastern Ghouta, Hama"

The last month has recorded the largest percentage of deportations compared to previous months, where the numbers of deportees reached 1191, and that is according to reliable sources from inside the occupied Gire Spi canton.

According to the source, those settlers have been placed in the houses originally belonging to the deported citizens from the area.  They await the completion of the colonial settlements that are being built by the Turkish occupation with Qatari and Kuwaiti funds and associations of an extremist religious nature.

The settlements are being built in Ain Al-Arous town and the western outskirts of the occupied canton, whose properties were confiscated by the so-called Tel Abyad Local Council and given to the Turkish occupation state to build settlements on them. Sulaiman Soylu, the Interior Minister of the Turkish occupation state, has visited these settlements in the last 2 months and he urged those in charge to build it quickly to implement Erdogan's settlement project and place 1 million Syrian refugees in the settlement complexes.
