Karayilan calls for a national Kurdistan stance against Turkish occupation

 The statements of a member of the leadership committee of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, Murat Karayilan, came during a lengthy interview with him on Dengê Welat radio.

 The following is the text of the interview:

 On the twentieth of July, the Turkish occupation state attacked the village of Barkh in Heftanin, and this attack resulted in the loss of nine Iraqi people and the injury of many others. What is the goal of the Turkish state in attacks on civilians...?

  We have to know that this village is located within the geography of the Heftanin region and is a kilometer and a half away from the Turkish border. There is a large military base for the Turkish army called Karyarch. The Turkish state now occupies 23 hills in Heftanin, meaning that it has established military bases in 23 regions, most of which surround Barkh,  It means that behind Barkh there are the Turkish occupation forces and from the west there are borders, that is, it is an area under the control of the Turkish occupation. It is true that on the Kerry line in the south, there are Iraqi border guards, and numbers of Peshmerga as well, but they are under the control of the Turkish state.

 Now there are very clear things, the first is that the PKK has nothing to do with this incident, the Turkish state is in control of that area, and the second thing, as Iraqi officials say, that this massacre was committed by the Turkish state and this is certain, and the third thing, that the Turkish state did not do that  Wrong, but thoughtfully, and that's also certain.

 Because it is close to it, during this period, there were 400-500 vehicles parked, there are about a thousand tourists, the Turkish government also knows that this place is a tourist destination.

The Turkish state wants to intimidate the people of southern Kurdistan and the peoples of Iraq.

 It is possible that the Turkish state did not expect that there would be such reactions against it, because before that it committed many massacres and no one reacted.

 There are thirty thousand Turkish soldiers  in Southern Kurdistan and Iraq

 The number of Turkish state military points established in Southern Kurdistan is about 100, but the number of soldiers stationed and active in Iraq is not less than 30,000. Currently there are special forces, commandos, etc. All the specialized brigades of the Turkish state are currently in southern Kurdistan.

 Attacks on Rojava

 There are many attacks against Rojava every day, Turkish state drones bombard Rojava areas every day, now there is what is said in the media that the Turkish state did not receive the green light from other forces in the region, but when you look at these attacks, it appears  contradiction, did the Turkish state obtain the consent of the relevant forces or not?  What can you say about these topics?

 As you know, a tripartite summit was held in Tehran a while ago, it seems that the Turkish state did not obtain the approval of the international powers in an official way, other than if they had concluded some agreements secretly, but it seems that they did not receive any official approval, as the Turkish state declared war on Rojava and northeastern Syria, just as the war in southern Kurdistan was waged, the Turkish state is now fighting the war in Rojava, northern and eastern Syria in the same way, the war does not necessarily mean that the soldiers will attack from the ground, no, it is now fighting a political-diplomatic war, now it is waging a war with drones, and they are waging an intelligence war, the artillery and mortars are now as effective as the air force, because they all fire based on the coordinates, so let's look at it as follows, the villages of Al-Shahba, Al-Jazira, Kobani and Ain Issa are subjected to heavy bombardment every day. This is a war;  No one should doubt that.

Now the Turkish state wants to change the situation and create some actual situations by waging a war on the border in this way, of course, if it intensifies its attacks, the forces there will also respond;  In this way, he wants to make a change in the situation, this is a game.

 No one should think that the Turkish state will intensify its attacks and then describe it as war. What is currently being waged is a war in any case, it must be dealt with.  As such, this must be explained well to both its partners and public opinion, in other words, the Turkish state launches its attacks on civilians every day, as well as against the leaders who fought the terrorist Daesh, just as it caused the martyrdom of some of our comrades who fought against Daesh in Şengal, so it does the same way  In Rojava, it recently targeted comrade Jiyan Tolholdan and her two companions, which resulted in their martyrdom.

 For example, they note;  Who is Jiyan Tolholdan?  She is a leader who fought the terrorist organization ISIS for 10 years, and leader in the anti-terrorist units YAT. Now a leadership with this force is targeted, in other words, if the self-styled forces commit to  the name of the alliance is silence in the face of this fact, it means that they are partners too, in other words, one of their comrades who work with each other every day was martyred, so how did that happen?  This requires an explanation, in fact, the Rojava revolution needs to carry out more useful diplomacy in this regard, this must be well explained to both public opinion and foreign partners.

 Military forces in Rojava have the right to take revenge

  The military forces in Rojava also have the right to retaliate, so on this basis, retaliation can be made, but if this is done directly, it will be understood as a border war as the Turkish state wants, no, it must first be understood by public opinion and those forces, then it must stop  these attacks or retaliation, they shed the blood of civilians and the leaders, in effect, are targeting two groups: one is the leaders who fought ISIS and the other is the civilian population.

 Why is the Turkish state doing this?  This country, especially the government of the Justice and Development Party and the Nationalist Movement Party, wants to continue its power through bloodshed, that is, there are elections in the future, they want to gather their masses around them with nationalist feelings before the elections and wage war against the Kurds, north and east Syria, and obtain the election results on this basis,  That is, they want to continue their rule with bloodshed, what a dirty and bloody mentality, they are very sadistic, that is why civilians in al-Shahba, al-Jazera and everywhere are targeted and martyred, and the leaders who fought against the terrorist organization ISIS, while doing their duty, were suddenly attacked on the road  And their martyrdom, is there such a cowardly and conspiratorial war, this is the way they fight.
