Azad Rasho: Women wounded are stable situation; critical conditions are treated in Aleppo hospitals

The artillery of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries targeted, yesterday evening, Tuesday, all areas on the front lines with the occupied areas in al-Shahba canton, Shera and Sherawa districts. Where the bombing reached the outskirts of the city of Tel Rifaat and the villages of Harbel, Kafr Naya, Kafr Nasih, Umm Hosh and other villages.

The barbaric bombing of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the vicinity of the city of Tal Rifaat resulted in the injury of 6 women, who were working in harvesting the potato crop, with varying degrees of injuries. They were subsequently transferred to Tal Rifaat Hospital and then to Avrin Hospital, while one of them was transferred to hospitals of Aleppo city for treatment.

The injured are: Sawsan Sobhi Mustafa (14 years), Kawthar Mustafa (17 years), Lamia Hassan (41 years), Rokhash Rasho (15 years), Fahima Rasho (22 years), and Atriya Mohammad Shobak (20 years).

In this context, the director of Avrin Hospital, Azad Rasho, said: "The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries stationed in the occupied villages and cities surrounding al-Shahba canton bombed all the villages and districts of al-Shahba canton, which is inhabited by thousands of displaced Afrin residents, in addition to its indigenous inhabitants."

He continued, "The bombing resulted in the injury of six women with varying injuries. One of them was transferred to hospitals of Aleppo, because her right leg injury was severe and she needed surgery. As for the others, their injuries were moderate and they are now under medical observation after their condition has stabilized."

He stressed, "After the Turkish occupation failed to take the green light to launch a new aggression on the region, it seeks to repeat the 2019 scenario, when it targeted the center of Tel Rifaat, which led to the martyrdom of 8 children, with the aim of intimidating the people and expelling them from the city."

He denounced of the positions of the guarantor state located in the city of Tel Rifaat, "with the presence of many headquarters of the guarantor states, but their presence does not constitute any obstacle to the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries committing crimes against the people, and the Tel Rifaat massacre and then the Aqiba massacre, and today it targets workers who work in harvesting the potato crop."

At the end of his speech, Rasho called, "Russia, the guarantor of the ceasefire, to do their duty, and all human rights organizations, to stop the barbarism of the Turkish occupation aimed at obliterating the presence of the displaced people of Afrin, and to hold it accountable for these crimes."
