​​​​​​​Hassakeh tribes: Turkey will face a strong response

Tribal dignitaries and representatives from Hassakeh gave a statement today after the Jaziira Region Military Council Command held a meeting in the city. This meeting was held as part of a series of meetings held in the region to discuss military developments and SDF`s preparations for this process.

During the statement, Kurdish, Arab and Armenian representatives from Hassakeh city and its countryside, Arab and Kurdish tribal dignitaries, as well as Hussein Selmo-  a commander from Jaziira Region Military Council, and several other SDF commanders were present.

The meeting was held at the Hassakeh Military Council Command center. During the meeting, Hussein Selmo drew attention to the Turkish state`s continous threats and attacks against North and East Syria and their violations of the ceasefire as well as the lack of responsibilites from the guarantor forces.

He continued: “With all our ethnic, religious, sectarian and intellectual beliefs, we continue to believe in our forces (Syrian Democratic Forces). In the past years, it became a shield to protect us against terrorists and greedy people.”

He concluded the statement by saying:” This time the situation will be different, and Turkey will face a strong response by organized forces and an unparalelled popular resistance. With our national forces- The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), we will prove to the world that we are united”

Tribal dignitaries and representatives from Hassakeh gave a statement today after the Jaziira Region Military Council Command held a meeting in the city. This meeting was held as part of a series of meetings held in the region to discuss military developments and SDF`s preparations for this process.

During the statement, Kurdish, Arab and Armenian representatives from Hassakeh city and its countryside, Arab and Kurdish tribal dignitaries, as well as Hussein Selmo-  a commander from Jaziira Region Military Council, and several other SDF commanders were present.

The meeting was held at the Hassakeh Military Council Command center. Selmo announced that their forces are ready to answer to any attacks by the Turkish occupation state and said: “ Our force are ready to defend the region and have created new ways of warfare and will allow for the Turkish state to advance. If there is a wider attack, our forces will proceed to carry out operations to liberated occupied regions”

He continued: “With all our ethnic, religious, sectarian and intellectual beliefs, we continue to believe in our forces (Syrian Democratic Forces). In the past years, it became a shield to protect us against terrorists and greedy people.”
