Aldar Khalil sends message to the Tehran meeting: Our people will proove themselves once again

The 10th anniversary of the Rojava Revolution was celebrated by the participation of thousands of people from the Jaziira region at the March 12 Martyr`s Stadium in the city of Qamishlo. Aldar Khalil held a speach at the celebration. He gave a message against the threats and attacks of the Turkish state and its mercenaries and said: “ This revolution has proved itself and is an example which will create a democratic Syria”

Aldar Khalil, member of the co-chairmanship of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) said that: “The results of the third line is here, it is evident in the Rojava revolution.”

`The reality of the revolution has proven itself`

Aldar Khalil first of all congratulated the people of North East Syria with the anniversary of the Revolution and said “This anniversary has become a celebration. We congratulate, first of all Leader Apo and the martyrs of the resistnce and our people on the occasion of the annivarsary of the Revolution. 11 years ago everyone came out and said that we will make a revolution. But after just one year, those who so-called were calling for the revolution, they themselves became occupying mercenaries and servants of the authorities. But all of our people started the revolution together. It was these people who created the people`s freedom revolution. The reality of the revolution proved itself on July 19. Leader Apo wrote in prison that the Rojava Revolution will start and that he will represent it.”

`OUR PEOPLE WILL GOVERN THEMSELVES BY THEIR OWN WILL`

 Khalil  said: “Together, we said no to the violence of the Baath regime and the authority” and drew attention to the beginning of the revolution and further stated: “ Our people will govern themselves by their own will for a democratic and freedomseeking society. Everyone was against this. Now, the people are able to govern their regions as a result of their knowledge and education. Those who are seeking for the truth about the revolution are here. Those seeking the third line are here. At the beginning, nobody gave importance to this view of the revolution. Here, we celebrate that the truth has come out.”

`MESSAGE TO THE TEHRAN MEETING: OUR PEOPLE WILL PROVE THEMSELVES AGAIN`

Khalil drew atteintion to the meeting being held in Tehran and gave a message of resistance against the plans of the invaders. Aldar Khalil made it clear that the project of the democratic nation will change the mentality of nation states and further stated: “ Those people who do not wish for us to govern themselves by their own will are attacking us. In the beginning the mercenaries, and later the Turkish state too attacked us. Despite all these attacks, a historical resistance is taking place. At this very moment, state leaders are trying to figure out how to defeat the revolution. I want to say this: this revolution which has achieved many gains, lived through many victories and these selfless and resistant people will prove it again in the 11th year. This revolution will become the example of a democratic Syria in which everyone can live. The issues of the people are being solved in this revolution. The brotherhood peoples is being realized in this revolution. The Turkish state now says they will come and occupy our regions. The answer from the people is clear. Everyone is sharing the gains made by the people. The people are saying that if a new attack comes, not only our sons and daughters, but all of us will be on their side. We have never said we will divide Syria. Even in 2011, we said it, and we reiterate it again now that with the force of society, we will create a new society with a new awarness. In this way, the nationstate will be changed. This is one example. With this exapmle, a democratic Syria will emerge.”

At the end of his speech, Aldar Khalil pointed out their readiness to create a democratic Syria with the Rojava Revolution and stated: “If Syria says they own Syria, then where is their project? We are ready to build a democratic Syria together. If we are to succeed, all the people of Syria must stand together in the resistance and follow in the path of the martyrs. This is the wish of 11 thousand martyrs and by following in their steps we will increase our resistance. We dedicate the democratic example to them. It may be that we have made many mistakes, but the revolution is far from over. We must put everything aside and protect our land. With this awareness and determination, we will achieve success together.”
