​​​​​​​Co-chair of Hasakah Canton Council urges residents to adopt resistance 

In the context of the escalation of threats and attacks by the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries on the areas of north and east Syria, with the aim of occupying them, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria declared, on July 6, a state of emergency, to confront the Turkish occupation attacks on the region.

In preparation for the next stage, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria is organizing the people of the region in general and members of all its institutions in particular, on the basis of the People's Revolutionary War, to counter all attacks affecting the region.

In this context, the co-chair of al-Hasakah Canton Council, Khabat Suleiman, explained that the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria intensified - with the declaration of a state of emergency - its mass meetings and with members of all its institutions, to inform them of the danger of the current stage and the main objectives of the Turkish occupation state from attacks.

"Our decision will be firm in order to liberate the occupied areas by the Turkish occupying state," he said.

During his speech, Suleiman added that their mass meetings are held on the basis of educating the people in order to confront all attacks on the region, saying, "People's awareness is the concept of the people's revolutionary war, which aims to unite peoples and stand by their military forces in all adversities, and to protect their areas, and that this the concept is well-established among the peoples of the region and its application will be practical in the event of any emergency in the region.”

The People's Revolutionary War is considered a popular resistance according to the principles of self-defense to stand in the face of any aggressive and occupational attacks, in which peoples and components unite to reach victory.

He indicated, "The goal of the Turkish occupation state from its threats and attacks on the region, is to occupy more lands and annex them on the Turkish map, after occupying Afrin, Serêkaniyê/ Ras al Ain and Girê Spî / Tal Abyad, and striking the gains made by the Autonomous Administration over ten years, and the revival of ISIS mercenaries again."

At the conclusion of his speech, the co-chair of the al-Hasakah Canton Council, Khabat Suleiman, called on all peoples to organize themselves on the basis of the people’s revolutionary war, and to stand by their military forces, to confront the occupation attacks, and to fully realize the plans of the Turkish occupation state, which aims to annihilate all components of north and east Syria.
