Over the past two days, Turkey's occupation army has stepped up its attacks on NE, Syria, with settlement operations and demographic change in the occupied areas.

The Democratic Society Movement issued a statement to public opinion, demanding that it stand up to the new Ottoman project.

At the beginning of TEV-DEM's statement, which ANHA’s agency received a copy of: "The targeting of the resistance city of Kobani by the Turkish fascist army and its bombing of a number of villages indiscriminately and violently came in conjunction with the Turkish occupation army and its mercenary associates being severely suffered of harsh blows in legitimate defence areas, where it was once again found unable to withstand the Guerrilla resistance, despite immense materiel and complicity of the KDP with it."

The statement touched upon the successive heavy losses and great disruption that Turkish occupation suffered of it by Guerrilla forces, saying:” Turkish occupation left behind themselves their military equipment and the corpse of their soldiers, fleeing the battlefield without being able to take them, as well as Skorsky helicopter was shot down.

The Democratic Society Movement, in its statement, affirmed that the Government of Justice and Development is in a tragic and difficult situation, and has lost its political balance: "This Government supporting global terrorism has recently been subjected to negative and embarrassing attitudes as a result of condemnatory demonstrations and operations from several parties inside and outside Turkey, especially the will of the peoples of NE, Syria."

The statement also touched upon the settlement project of the Turkish occupation "The dangerous Ottoman fascist settlement project of Turkey by sending 1 million refugees to the occupied areas of Syria without any United Nations resolution. These dirty policies pursued by the Government of a coalition between AKP and the Nationalist Movement are aimed at annexing parts of Syria and attaching it as the Sanjak of Alexandretta Turkey."

The statement warned that the Turkish fascist state would further escalate its war on NE, Syria; in retaliation for their losses and defeat to Guerrilla resistance and free peoples' resistance.

In its statement, the Democratic Society Movement appealed to all national and political forces, Arab and Kurdistan democracy and all human rights and civil organizations to join solidarity campaigns to protect the region "from the new Ottoman treachery and its dangerous settlement project."

It concluded its statement by saying: "Because there is nothing left in the hands of the bloody Justice and Development Government except partition and division projects for the ease of the settlement and settlement process, and the only force capable of thwarting this fascism and its projects is the Guerrilla resistance and all those who resist the Turkish occupation."
