​​​​​​​PC announces its support for Guerilla, denounces PDK's complicity with occupation

 The Council issued a statement to the public opinion regarding the attacks of the Turkish occupation on northern and eastern Syria and Başûr Kurdistan.

 In its statement, member of the council, Zakira Ahmed, condemned the Turkish attacks, and called for standing up to them, denouncing at the same time the complicity of the Kurdistan Democratic Party with them.

 The statement stated: "We condemn and denounce the attacks of the Turkish occupation on northern and eastern Syria, Başûr Kurdistan, and the legitimate defense areas. The Turkish occupation state fascist mentality, wants to implement its hostile plans and its Ottoman dream, and it leads directly with the Al-Kazemi government and with the complicity of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the attacks on our people with the aim of striking the nation's project and the gains of our people.

The Council statement, referred to the policy of demographic change pursued by the Turkish occupation in the occupied areas, and settlement operations, and continued: "The occupation aims to settle Syrian refugees from Turkey in northern Syria to bring about demographic change on the Syrian map in general and northern and eastern Syria in particular."

 While referring to the attacks that target NES by Turkey, he said, "These attacks target civilians directly, and the Turkish occupation uses drones in its attacks, which result in the martyrdom of citizens, with the aim of undermining the will of our people and striking the democratic nation's project."

 The statement talked about the wrong policy of the Kurdistan Democratic Party towards the Kurdish people and stressed that the visits of Nechirvan and Masrour Barzani to Turkey are to conclude agreements in order for them to remain in power, and explained that these visits meet with a widespread popular condemnation in Başûr Kurdistan

 While declaring his support for the resistance of the Guerilla fighters against the Turkish occupation, it said: "We, the Kurdish people in Damascus and its suburbs, stand united in support of the Popular Defense Forces."
