​​​​​​​Hajj Issa on Turkish settlement project: It aims to expil Kurds from Rojava-Bakur

 The speech of the joint head of the Office of Political Relations of the Democratic Union Party in the Euphrates region came at a time when the Turkish occupation state intensified its attacks on northeast Syria, whether by artillery shelling or by drones, as well as its announcement of a project to resettle more than a million Syrian refugees in the areas it occupied in the NE  Syrian Arab Republic.

 Bakr Issa told our agency that "the intensive attacks launched on northern and eastern Syria are linked to the settlement project it is planning in the occupied Kurdish areas in Syria, which is considered one of the most dangerous projects against the Kurds throughout history, and even more dangerous than the policy of the Baath Party."

 He added, "We are with the return of one million Syrian refugees to their homeland, but not to the areas of others, stressing, "Syrians should not fall victim to the ideas of Turkish officials, and realize well that the real home owners will return to them one day."

 Syrian refugees are victims of Turkish policies

 Bakr Haj Issa touched on how the Turkish fascist state exploited the Syrian refugees in Turkey, and said that it is “a ploy that the Turkish fascist government has used since the beginning of the Syrian crisis.  How can the Turkish people and the Syrian refugees be deceived by these tricks?

 He pointed out that the Turkish government, with the return of some refugees, achieves many goals, and said: "On the one hand, Turkey provokes the sectarian war between the Syrians, and on the one hand it wins the voice of the Turkish people, the last of which is the most important for it and the most dangerous for us as Kurds, as it expils the Kurds from the borders separating Rojava  and Bakur".

 The co-chair of the political relations office of the PYD in the Euphrates region, Bakr Haj Issa, called on the Kurdish political parties not to fall victim to the ideas of Turkish officials, and demanded them to stand by their people.  It is fighting an entire people, and what is happening in Afrin and the rest of the areas occupied by Turkey is the best proof of that."

 Bakr Haj Issa pointed out that the demographic change in the occupied territories is taking place in full view of everyone, and kidnapping and looting have continued, since the first day of Turkey's occupation of the areas in north and east Syria.

 At the conclusion of his speech, Hajj Issa renewed his confidence in the Kurdish people, and called on them to be careful, "because this era does not accept the weak, and our people proved their strength when they were exposed to attacks."
