ISIS attacks Damascus forces sites east of Deir al-Zor

8 members of Damascus government forces were wounded, as a result of an attack carried out by ISIS mercenary cells this morning, targeting sites of Damascus government forces and groups loyal to it in Hamra area in the desert of the town of Al-Qoriya, east of Deir al-Zor.

Meanwhile, Russian warplanes carried out about 6 air strikes targeting ISIS mercenaries' sites in Rasafa desert in Raqqa countryside, according to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Yesterday, Russian warplanes carried out about 25 air strikes on the areas of ISIS mercenaries in Aleppo-Hama-Raqqa triangle, Ma'adan desert, and Rasafa in Raqqa, in addition to the eastern desert of Homs.

The death toll during the military operations within Syrian desert, according to documentation of Syrian Observatory, has reached 195 since the beginning of 2022, are: 104 ISIS mercenaries were killed by Russian air strikes that targeted areas where they hide in separate areas of the desert of Homs, al-Suwaydaa, Hama, Raqqa, Deir al-Zor and Aleppo.

And 91 members of Damascus government forces and groups loyal to it were killed in 35 ISIS attacks in separate areas of the desert, which took place through ambushes, armed attacks and bombings in west of the Euphrates, Deir al-Zor, Raqqa, Homs, al-Suwaydaa, Hama and Aleppo.
