TEV-DEM congratulates the toilers and workers by May 1

This came through a statement issued by the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) on the occasion of May 1, International Labor Day.

And it said in the statement: "With the coming of the one hundred and thirty-sixth anniversary of the first of May, we congratulate all the toilers and workers of north and east Syria and all the peoples of the resistance against injustice and denial" on this day.

It went on to say: "The working and labouring segment is considered one of the largest struggling and sacrificing societal segments in the world, as it has been subjected to suffering, injustice, denunciation and oppression by the capitalist regimes and the dominant countries with economic, political and immoral benefits, and claimed the lives of many of this segment without discrimination between gender and race, using them as slaves. for its own profit-making ambitions.

In the continuation of its statement, the Democratic Society Movement TEV-DEM clarified that this category (toilers and workers) "reached the free will by organizing their ranks and gathering their intellectual and personal forces to search for equality and social justice and organizing themselves through demonstrations and labour protests that amounted to a revolution against the capitalist exploiters, demanding rights and justice in order to reach for a free will and to improve their living conditions, and over a period of one hundred and thirty-six years, during which they made great sacrifices to put an end to the killing of lives, until it became a reality, and imposed itself by the strength of its will. "

The statement added: "As a result of the difficult conditions experienced by the impotent global capitalist system, which has become a scourge on the necks of humanity, and has become like a black cloud in which there is no light, which greatly affects the global general situation, as a result of the conflicts and crises that the entire international community is exposed to, as a result of the policies of the regimes, authoritarianism and terrorist gangs are two sides of the same coin.

The statement shed light on the policies practiced against workers by saying: "Many countries claim to support the rights of workers and toilers, including the countries of the region, especially the Turkish occupation state, which practices the most horrific and dirty policies against the will of the toilers and workers and killing them in the prisons through a policy of arbitrary arrests and imposes unemployment, employment and illiteracy on society Turkey as a whole, in addition to imposing a policy of denial and genocide on the peoples of the region through a policy of special war.

On a different level, the statement drew attention to the role of workers in the revolution in north and east Syria, and stated: “The toiling and working segment played an important and exemplary role with all segments of society in the revolution of the will of the peoples of resistance in north and east Syria and the whole region and became complementary to the struggle and role of the toiling people, and gave a lively spirit with the will, effort and struggle despite all the difficulties and tragedies, and made great heroic and moral epics based on based on human foundations and standards, through the active participation of the toiling and struggling women in most of the squares and fields, which became leading the inheritance, values ​​and meanings of the first of May, adhering to the spirit and values ​​of a revolutionary community in building a democratic society Free, he's making his way to the best."
