Yezidis Union in Aleppo decries attempts to undermine gains of Shengal represented by AA

Yazidis Union in the city of Aleppo denounced the conspiracy of the Turkish occupation state, with the participation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Iraqi government, to strike the gains of the Autonomous Administration in Shengal, calling on international organizations and bodies to intervene to stop the joint aggression against the Kurdish people in Shengal.

Among the reactions that angered the Yazidi community, the Union of Yazidis in Aleppo denounced, in a statement issued today, that the Iraqi army, on the 25th of this April, sent its soldiers, accompanied by military vehicles, to Shengal and some nearby villages.

The statement was read by Rima Seido, member of the Yazidi Union in Aleppo, in the presence of dozens of members of the Union and members of the Yazidi community, in front of the Union Center in the western part of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood.

The statement began by noting that the Turkish occupation state turns a blind eye to all the difficulties it faces in controlling every region liberated from the taint of terrorism, and that the poor economic situation that Turkey is complaining about internally, which threatens its collapse and inability, pushes it to continue its failure with all its dirty plans against the people in Shengal.

The statement continued, "The Turkish occupation state continues to increase attacks on Shengal from time to time. We see how it is trying again, in agreement with the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Iraqi government, with one plot after another, to undermine the Autonomous Administration that was established thanks to the blood and sacrifices of our people."

The statement stressed that steadfastness is the best option to thwart any plot and plot against the democratic project, which is the only way to get rid of slavery and humiliation, and that the Iraqi government has not only clamped down on Shengal by building a wall of shame around it, but is now attacking the Asayish checkpoint that protects our people in Shengal".

The statement appealed to human rights organizations to intervene and stop the Turkish occupation state's aggression against the Kurdish presence in general, any scheme.
