Human Rights Organization in Euphrates region calls on UN to stop Turkish crimes

The statement came by the Human Rights Organization in the Euphrates region, condemning the targeting by the Turkish occupation’s drones of a car on the road between the villages of Idig and Tokht, south of the city, yesterday, Wednesday, which resulted in the martyrdom of 3 fighters of the Women’s Protection Units.

The statement pointed out that "the Turkish occupation state continues its systematic and immoral policies in targeting civilian neighborhoods, without the international community moving indifferently towards its criminal acts and violations against civilians under false pretexts that do not exist."

Adding, "The Turkish occupation state, with its indiscriminate bombardment, causes material and human damage, and creates a state of panic and fear in the targeted areas among the citizens. The Turkish state blatantly and publicly transgresses international laws, norms and conventions, including the Fourth Geneva Convention."

The statement pointed out that the "brutal criminal approach" of the Turkish state is a disgrace to humanity, and a public defiance of international norms and conventions, considering the silence of the international community regarding its crimes "as acceptance of the Turkish bombing of NE Syria."

In its statement, the Human Rights Organization in the Euphrates region called on the international community to put pressure on Turkey and work more forcefully and effectively to stop Turkish crimes and protect citizens and residential neighborhoods from bombing.
