CPT reveals new information regarding the occupied Turkish attacks on Başûr Kurdistan

 The CPT organization issued a statement on the latest developments in the occupying Turkish state's attack on the legitimate defense zones.

 The statement said that the Turkish state landed its forces with helicopters and parachutes in the steep mountains of Zab, Avashin,  Metina and  Kurijaro and deployed them in the region.

 According to CPT, the Turkish army advanced 19 kilometers from the Turkish border to the Shiladze border.  The occupying Turkish state wants to build 5 new military bases in “Çiyaya Reş – Şiketan Birîndaran – Aris Faris – Werxelê – Kurejaro.”  It is also mentioned that the Turkish occupation warplanes have bombed Avashin, Bassian, Zab,  Kurijaro, Matina and the villages of Berwari Bala since April 17th.

 The statement also referred to the impact of the attacks on civilians in the area and said: “Although no civilian casualties were recorded, drones and helicopters periodically fly in populated areas. The purpose of this attack is to spread fear and panic among the citizens.  The residents of the area also depended on collecting spring herbs as a source of income for them.  Now they are unable to earn their living due to the bombing of the area.  The war also had a negative impact on tourism.
