Mustafa Ami: Turkey contributes and support ISIS to continue

The ISIS threats and dangers came to the surface again, in the Hol Camp in eastern Hasaka City an attack was carried out on 28 March by a cell of ISIS that was repelled by the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria. That attack as the first of its kind since the Sina'a break jail in the city of Hasaka in January the last.  

in a statement made to ANHA researcher on the Jihadi Islamic groups Mustafa Amin said:

''the repositioning process of the ISIS was done by sleeper cells in many areas of the Syrian territory and more particularly in the Syrian Desert and in areas on the frontlines with the Syrian Army forces. while in areas of the Syrian Democratic Forces the presence was intensified specifically and ambushes were laid and attacks were carried out against the Syrian Democratic Forces the SDF. It was activated in Iraq too, in the Anbar Province desert and in Diyala and Kirkuk. These all are precursors to a big assault by the ISIS organization''.

Mustafa noted the ISIS mercenaries adopted the attrition style of strategy, that was done effectively with the Iraqi state, as the power poles were destroyed and subsequent attacks were carried out against the Iraqi forces. Mustafa noted that took place in Iraq was in line with attacks carried out in North and East Syria.

The operation in the Sina'a prison in the city of Hasaka was to lift siege on the prisoners of the so-called 'Ani call that was planned in the reign of the terrorist Abu Ibrahim Hashemi, the former caliph of the group that was killed in the town of Atmeh in Syria and created the sought gossip. But the groups reorganized itself and chose another caliph, Hesen Hashemi, in an attempt to give an impression that the group still exists and able to continue and carry out operations''.

Mustafa Amin said the presence of ISIS in Arab and Islamic countries was a result of troubles and problems existing, '' the creation of ISIS was well planned of the former Jihadi salafist groups up to the Islamic State in Iraq then the Islamic State in Iraq and Syrian and up to the declaration of the caliphate in Mosul in 2014 and the geography it swept into and controlled up to 2017 then the expulsion of the organization from its bastions in Mosul and Raqqa. 

Regarding the security approach to the group Mustafa Amin says that approach is not effective and it ought to be dealt with the ideology the groups advocates, and to instruct people of the dangers the ideology of the groups poses'' this is a very complicated issue, the local community has to bear responsibilities to stand up to the organization on security and on the ideology aspect too, while the international community has to adopt strategies that prevent these groups to spread or cross borders''.  

Amin said this is a very difficult task amid economic, financial and social hardship these communities live in''.

On the role played by Turkey Amin says:

Turkey is responsible in a way or another for the continuation of the organization. At the first it dealt with it as a Sunni-Shi'ite struggle as it was the passage of extremists from many countries in the world to the region. Turkey aided the group to commit a lot of appalling crimes against humanity. Turkey aided the organization by economic help indirectly via oil and trafficking and antiques too. Turkey proceeded to subvert the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF that fights the group and all areas under its control in North and East Syrian and Iraq to safe havens for the ISIS commanders. This was very clear when Abu Bakr Baghdadi was present in the town of Barisha and Abu Ibrahim Hashemi in Atmeh where he was killed''. 

Mustafa said holding Turkey accountable needs an international will '' the international community is not clear and not serious in this''.
