Official in  Şengal's AA warns of dangers of building wall

 On October 9, 2020, the Iraqi government headed by the outgoing Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party announced that they had reached an agreement that targeted the will of the Yazidi community in Şengal.

 Since mid-March, the Iraqi army has been building a separation wall between  Şengal and Rojava, and observers confirm that it aims to besiege Şengal, isolate it from its Kurdish surroundings, and dismember Kurdistan, which was divided by the colonial powers in the Sykes-Picot Agreement, and that its construction is a secret clause that was not announced in the agreement and applied right now.

 A dangerous scheme shared by the PDK, Iraq and Turkey

 Azad Hussein, the deputy co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in  Şengal, says, "The October 9 agreement includes a dangerous scheme involving the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the Iraqi government and Turkey, and what is happening on the borders of  Şengal and Rojava is a clause of the conspiracy agreement against the Yazidi community."

 ISIS cells are scattered all over the Iraqi land

 The Iraqi government claims that the goal of building the wall is to protect itself from the infiltration of ISIS mercenaries, while Hussein says, " Şengal is the most secure area in Iraq. ISIS cells are scattered in abundance throughout the Iraqi land. The Iraqi desert is filled with its dens, but it seems that there are those who are pressuring  the government is carrying out hostile schemes against us."

 In 2014, the Iraqi army handed over the city of Mosul to ISIS within only 3 hours, and in August of the same year, the Iraqi army and forces affiliated with the Kurdistan Democratic Party withdrew from  Şengal during the ISIS attack on the district.

 They want to impose a siege on Şengal to cut itself off with Rojava

 Azad Hussein, in his special statement to our agency, spoke about the great provided by Rojava and the Autonomous Administration during the attack of ISIS mercenaries in 2014, and that the construction of the wall aims to sever the link between Rojava and  Şengal;  "Because the two regions have declared their self-administration, and they have their military forces that protect and defend their existence, so they do not accept the idea of ​​freedom from slavery spreading, and they want to impose a siege on Şengal."

 Iraq builds the wall on Turkish orders

 The Vice-President of the Joint Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of  Şengal touched in his speech on the internal Iraqi situation and the clear external interference in it, and believes that the Iraqi government cannot stand in the face of foreign plans;  On the contrary, it coordinated with them, and added, "The air attacks carried out by Turkey on the Yazidis in  Şengal are a clear violation of Iraqi sovereignty, but the government's coordination with it (Turkey) indicates the internal situation in Iraq."

 He said, "Iraq is not at a level where it can defend itself against the outside. The Iraqi parliament cannot hold a full session of the legal quorum since its election because of direct external interference in its affairs."

 "Also, the construction of the wall cannot be viewed as a plan by the Iraqi government, under the pretext of protecting its security, but the Turkish orders are very clear," he added.

 Azad Hussein talked about before 2014, the great quest of the Kurdistan Democratic Party to seize  Şengal and implement Article 140 of the Iraqi constitution, regarding the disputed areas and the referendum on them.  For the benefit of the Baghdad government and Turkey.

 Article 140 provides for the removal of demographic policies conducted by Saddam Hussein's regime in the disputed areas.

 He concluded his speech with the need to be wary of the plans hostile to the Yazidi community and to know their secrets, and said, "The construction of the wall is part of a dangerous scheme that they are implementing, because it is built only in the geography of  Şengal and all their allegations are baseless."
