​​​​​​​ TEV-DEM Co-Chair: Turkish state looks for a loophole, our people must be vigilant

 At a time when the eyes of the whole world are directed to Russia and Ukraine, the occupying Turkish state is seeking to intensify its attacks on Başûr and northern and eastern Syria.

 The co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM), Roken Ahmed, reminded that the Turkish state has been attacking all the peoples of the region, especially the Kurdish people, since the Ottoman era until now.

 She also indicated that the peoples of NE Syria should organize themselves within the framework of the people's revolutionary war to stand in the face of the occupation attacks of the Turkish state.

 'The Turkish state supported ISIS in order not to solve the Syrian crisis'

 Roken Ahmed referred to the policy of the Turkish state after 2011, in order to prevent a solution to the Syrian crisis, saying: "The Turkish state formed the 'Free Army' and similar groups after 2011, in order to prevent a solution to the Syrian crisis, but it did not succeed. This is because these groups had no intention of liberating the peoples from the ruling regime. But they accustomed these mercenaries to material support. These mercenary groups were only after money, and they had no intention of liberating the peoples from the ruling regime. That is why they were quickly  defeated."

 Roken Ahmed continued in the same context, "After this, Jabhat al-Nusra was formed, and when it did not achieve the desired results, it transferred it to ISIS. It immediately joined the stage that began after Kobani, and directly intervened. Indeed, the Turkish state rose shortly before ISIS attacked on  Kobani, with great propaganda campaigns for the displacement of the people.The Turkish state has officially supported ISIS so as not to solve the Syrian crisis, and to block the way for the spread of our regime in northern and eastern Syria."

 'Everyone should stand by the fighters'

 Ahmed explained that the goal is to organize the people's revolutionary war with the Autonomous Administration;  Let the people stand in the face of the occupation attacks with their strength. She continued, “There is a perception that we should leave the task of defense to the military forces. The people must realize that if they cannot create a defensive perception, they will not be able to  establishing its institutions. Defense does not mean only taking up arms. What is war? Struggle is to create the revolutionary spirit in your character, create a sense of loyalty for your land. That is, not to consider immigration as a solution. Everyone should say 'I must stand by'  Our fighters who defend us.”

 'We must turn the world's attention to this revolution'

 The co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) explained;  Ahmed said that they seek to organize the people’s revolutionary war and said: “We should draw the attention of the whole world to this revolution. We offered thousands of martyrs and liberated northern and eastern Syria from ISIS. Several days ago, the people of Deir Ezzor celebrated the anniversary of the elimination and end of ISIS in Baghouz.  "But ISIS still exists, and if we don't organize, it will come back."

 She also reminded of the danger of ISIS, and pointed out that ISIS's attack on the Al-Sinaa prison in Hasaka posed a great danger to northern and eastern Syria, and continued, "Our people are our firm foundation. If society is organized, everyone will trust its strength."

 Ahmed explained that the struggle of the women of Rojava inspired all the women of Syria, and said that the people of As-Suwayda, after the attacks of the Damascus government, demanded self-administration.

 'Women and the people must be at the forefront'

 Ruken Ahmed continued, “I hope that both women and people will take the lead, and be vigilant about some things. The reason for this warning is that the Turkish state seeks to take advantage of every loophole. Once it finds a loophole within society, it uses it directly for its attacks.”  In addition to all this, I emphasize once again that the continuation and sustainability of our revolution requires unity, organization and self-confidence.

She mentioned that the enemies of the Kurdish people have presented the approach of treason and have always blocked the way to the unity of the Kurds. She indicated that this perception was broken with the emergence of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and added, "We are the Kurdish people, our mentality, our strength and our number are not small. But the enemy seeks to make us  We face treachery daily, but this perception was broken by the emergence of the leader Apo. The physical and psychological boundaries that separated the Kurds were removed thanks to the leader Apo. The Kurds of Bakur,  Başûr, Rojava and Rojhlat fought on the same front and became comrades in the path. We saw this in the Kobani resistance  , where the people of  Bakûr established a human chain, and said 'Kobani will not fall.' This showed that the borders have become meaningless for the Kurdish people."

Ahmed also referred to the KDP's relations with the Turkish state, saying: "People like Nechirvan Barzani and Masoud Barzani have shown the opposite position. It is not right and fair to call them the Kurds, because the people of  Başûr have a nationalistic spirit. They resisted against Saddam for years,  The heroic Peshmerga appeared among them. Some parties in Başûr serve external forces and do not serve their society.

Ahmed explained that the Kurdish people should hold their national conference in a short time and added, "Our war against ISIS has turned into an example for the peoples of Syria, and thanks to that, the Syriacs, Arabs, Circassians and Turkmen also organized themselves. The struggle that took place here inspired the organization of the Shingal people."  In which (73) firmans were also executed, which led to the formation of their military and political strength so that no further firman would be implemented against them. Today, the Yezidis can stand in the way of the efforts of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Iraqi government opposing their political entity.
