Conference of Women’s Council in NE, Syria kicks off

Participating in the conference of the Women's Council in North and East Syria, representatives of political parties, Kongra Star, the Syrian Democratic Council, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the Internal Security Forces - Women, the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), the Council of Martyrs' Families, the Armenian Council, and the Tel Abyed Council / Girê Spî, the Serêkaniyê IDPs Committee, the Afrin Social League, the green women of Idlib, and a number of guests from the Euphrates region, al-Shahba canton, and Raqqa.

The conference will also be attended by the member of the General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Newroz Ahmed, and the Head of the Executive Council of the Syrian Democratic Council, Ilham Ahmed, in addition to the co-chair of the Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region, Nazira Goriya and Talaat Younes, and members of the Women's Coordination in North and East Syria.

Pictures of the female martyrs were hung in the conference hall, held in the Zana Hall in Qamishlo, and a banner that read in the three languages ​​Syriac, Arabic and Kurdish, "In the spirit of the martyrs of the age, the struggle of women will continue," in addition to hanging the flags of the Women's Council in North and East Syria.

The conference work includes a speech by the coordinating member of the Women's Council in North and East Syria, Asia Abdullah, and short film was shown about the reality of women in the areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries.

The conference program consists of 3 main axes, the political axis, the social axis, and the human rights axis, in addition to interventions by activists from outside northern and eastern Syria through the zoom application, and a final statement, according to what was stated by the Preparatory Committee for the conference.
