HPG announces killing 2 Turkish occupation soldiers in Zap

Media Center of the legitimate Defense Forces announced, through a written statement published, Thursday, the implementation of an operation in the Zap region, in the context of commemorating the martyrs of the week of resistance, which resulted in the killing of two Turkish soldiers and the destruction of two sites for them.

The text of the statement was as follows:

In the framework of the revolutionary campaign of the Zagros Hawks in the Zap:

On March 23, at about 21:10, our forces launched an attack on the occupiers in the Badawiyeh Castle area in Zap across two axes and in a coordinated manner. This operation, which targeted two enemy sites, resulted in the killing of at least two Turkish soldiers, and the destruction of both targeted sites.

Our forces carried out this powerful operation to remember the martyrs of the week of resistance, that is, the martyrs of March 21-28, and to remember the immortal heroes in all of Kurdistan.

The slope of the Martyr Sharif hill in the Khakork region was also bombed by warplanes around 12:20 on March 21st.

The Martyr Rustam and Saja squares in the Zap region were bombed by warplanes three times in a row between 18:30-19:10 on March 22.
