Deir Ezzor people: PKK's proposals advocate equality

Hamud went on to say the PKK advocates freedom and democracy for all components based on free thought, justice and equality. '' the party sacrificed thousands of martyrs to defeat the terror that is supported by the Turkish occupation state'', he concluded.

In turn, co-chair of the Eastern Region Council Hatim Kiheilat said: ''wars and conflicts in North eastern Syria especially and in the Middle East in general need a just political solution among all components regardless of creed, classes and religions''.

Hatim Kiheilat said '' from our past experiences we have never seen any ideas advocated calling for peoples' equality from any ruling country. It was the PKK and leader Abdullah Ocalan that did so''. 

Kiheilat said those powers that enlisted the party on the terror list have interests to prolong wars. They all seek to wipe out the identity of a people that seeks to build a free society that rejects repression and wrong doing based on the ideas proposed by this party''.

Both Hatim and Hamud called on human rights associations and European countries to delist the party from the terrorism list.
