Arzi Hassan: We need to gather all women in the world under supervision international movement

YPJ Commander, Arzi Hassan, blessed International Women's Day on all women who have sacrificed their lives for women's rights, to build justice and equality between society and for their cause, to achieve great goals and to safeguard their gains and freedom.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Arzi Hassan said that the 8th of March for the Women's Protection Units was a self-assessment and assessment of the historical struggle of women, the serious and concrete steps they had achieved, and the extent to which they had been able to effect changes, achieve their goals and achieve victories.

Arzi Hassan touched on the role of women in developing and strengthening relations between women, and said: "The Women's Protection Units played an important role in developing relations between women naturally. Our thinking when establishing these units might be about how we can protect our people from the wars and exterminations that the country was witnessing, But the presence of the Women’s Protection Units showed the difference between all the forces that fight in the region, and made the world’s eyes turn to them, especially women. The formation of the Women’s Protection Units opened the way for them to get to know many women, of different nationalities, and spread the spirit of coexistence among each other and remove the imminent danger them.”

About what is required of women at the present time, Arzi emphasized: “We need to achieve women’s goals and know how to escalate a common struggle worldwide among all women, and we have been putting forward our proposals on this issue in many of our meetings; any formation of a joint confederation of women or a joint movement, whatever its name, there is no difference in the name,

As for NE, Syria, Arzi Hassan said: "At the level of NE, Syria, which is based on the principle of the democratic nation, which was able to preserve women's rights to a certain level, we cannot say that women move according to the laws related to women, and we cannot say that we have been able to reach all women and limiting the violence practiced against them is a mistake, there are still many women who do not know the concept of women’s freedom, and we must evaluate all of this, in order to be able to reach the absolute freedom of women, on this basis and in this way, we say to all Kurdish, Arab and Syriac women that we must unite more and work harder to be able to build a stronger society, because changing the mentality requires a lot of effort.”

At the conclusion of her speech, the commander of the Women’s Protection Units, Arzi Hassan, recalled all the female martyrs and the martyrs of the March 12 uprising and said: “When the authority fails in a plan, it resorts to implementing it across society, the dispute that occurred between the Qamishlo team and the Deir ez-Zor team was not natural, but rather a policy The state applied it to repress the Kurds again, but in the hands of the Arab component, so we must not be tools in the hands of the state.
