The Israeli army killed two Palestinians, including a leader of the "Islamic Jihad" movement, and wounded others, in an armed clash that erupted after the Israeli army stormed the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank, while the Palestinian factions vowed to respond.

According to Palestinian sources, the clash took place after the Israeli army chased one of the field commanders in the military arm of the "Islamic Jihad Movement", which led to the killing of the wanted man, while the other dead man was a Palestinian worker. In addition to wounding other Palestinians.

The sources indicated that "special Israeli units infiltrated Jenin camp using vehicles bearing Palestinian license plates, and stationed in dozens of houses and set up ambushes."

An armed clash erupted in Jenin camp following the storming, while Palestinian factions mourned in separate statements the "resistive martyrs", and vowed to respond to Israel.
