Internal Security Forces dismantle number of IEDs in Deir-ez-Zor

The Demining Units of the Internal Security Forces dismantled old explosive devices capable of being detonated in one of the neighborhoods of the town of Hajin, east of Deir ez-Zor.

According to the official website of the Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria, their Demining Units "dismantled yesterday, Sunday, February 27, a large amount of war remnants in one of the neighborhoods of the town of Hajin, east of Deir ez-Zor."

The website said: "Following a report submitted by a citizen about the presence of suspicious objects in one of the neighborhoods of Hajin, our forces and the Demining Units rushed to the aforementioned place, where a heavy security cordon was imposed to preserve the safety of the citizens."

Demining Units also began detecting and examining the objects, and it turned out that they were old explosive devices, numbering eleven explosive shells, belonging to the remnants of war. They were removed without causing any significant damage or losses.

The official website of the Internal Security Forces confirmed that their forces continue their duty to remove the remnants of war and what threatens security, stability and innocent lives.
