NGOs working in the Al-Hol Camp load garbage out of specified landfill

Though peoples' municipality in the Al-Hol district asked time and again NGOs in the camp to load its garbage in specified places call are disregarded by drivers of trucks that dump garbage randomly that causes the spread of many diseases the most common of which is leishmania.

According to Amar Musa co-chair of the Peoples' Municipality in the Al-Hol district all machines that convey garbage in the camp belong to working NGOs in the camp.

Though there is a landfill made by the Peoples' Municipality that is a short distance to the camp rather drivers load the garbage at the periphery close to the district center. The is just five km to the district lying in the south just 4 km to the camp. 

Amar Musa co-chair of the Peoples' Municipality in the Al-Hol district told ANHA the process of loading by trucks of garbage not on places specified by the municipality, that led to random landfills. Though many meetings were held between the municipality and the camp administration and working NGOs. ''unfortunately, the mechanism adopted now by these NGOs impinge upon the lives of the people in the district, especially NGOs concerned with the issue, at the head of which Blumond and Yamamh'', said Musa. On the measures to be adopted by the Peoples' Municipality of the Al-Hol Camp, Musa said'' strict measures will be taken against such societies and NGOs in few next days''.

The Al-Hol Camp is some 45 km to the east of the city of Hasaka and houses at least 60 thousands persons of ISIS families.
