In a statement issued on Thursday, the SDC condemned the "Turkish attacks against civilians and the power station in the village of Kar Kendal in the rural city of Deirk," stressing the importance of starting a genuine and serious political solution in Syria.

The Council praised the role of the clans and citizens who supported SDF, and said: "The Syrian Democratic Council, while condemning the cowardly terrorist act and condemning any attack on the Syrian Democratic Forces, appreciates the heroic role of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Internal Security Forces, as well as the role of civilians, clans and forces. The politicians who supported the “SDF” forces in the battle of al-Sina’a Prison, al-Hasakah.

It also offered its deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs and victims, and called on all Syrians throughout Syria to stand united "against this organization's attempts to regain control over Syrian society by intimidating it."
