​​​​​​​HPC participate in the search and sweep operations within the neighborhoods of Hasaka

Internal Security Forces in Hasaka city, with the support of Syria Democratic Forces, continue their search and sweep operations against ISIS cells in Hasaka's neighborhoods for the fifth consecutive day, following the attack that targeted the city, on January20, in an attempt to control Al-Sina'a prison, which It includes thousands of prisoners from ISIS mercenaries, but the attack was thwarted.

Internal Security Forces and SDF launched sweep and search operations for the sleeper cells affiliated with ISIS mercenaries on January26, while the sweep and search operations are still continuing so far.

Internal Security Forces combed several neighborhoods within the city of Hasaka, in direct cooperation and coordination with Community Protection Forces, which have an active role in this operation, as they organize daily night shifts in all neighborhoods of the city.

The importance of the participation of HPC in the search and sweep operations lies in the fact that the members of the forces are from the same neighborhoods, and are able to distinguish the residents of the neighborhood from strangers.

Fawaz Nizar Sayed-Ali, member of Community Protection Forces, confirmed to ANHA' agency that their voluntary forces are cooperating with Internal Security Forces in the operation of sweep the neighborhoods, saying: "We are working together to cleanse the neighborhoods of Hasaka from the terrorists."

The sweep operations are carried out with great care by Internal Security Forces and the Community Protection Forces within the neighborhoods of Hasaka, that the forces searched all the houses without exception, and checked the identities of everyone who entered and left the neighborhoods, in order to preserve the safety of the people from the of ISIS cells.
