​​​​​​​Yasser Al-Sulayman: Syrian government supports ISIS mercenaries cells

As soon as the attacks and disobedience began in Al-Sina'a prison, Damascus government withdraw its forces from its points in Raqqa desert to make room for ISIS cells to move towards Raqqa.

Syria Democratic Forces said in a statement issued on January25, "Reports of that the regime evacuated a number of sites in its areas in Rasafa city, 40 km south of Raqqa, and left them to ISIS cells is dangerous, in conjunction with the attack on Al-Sina'a prison in Hasaka, our forces precautionary measures were taken to prevent ISIS from benefiting from these evictions and posing a threat to the vicinity of Raqqa."

In an interview conducted by ANHA' agency with Deputy Co-chair of General Council in Executive Council of AANES, Yasser Al-Sulayman commented: "It would have been better for Syrian government to protect the borders and not allow terrorists to enter and tamper with the lives of the civilians."

He added: "It was not the Syria Democratic Forces that brought the coalition into Syria, but the failure of Syrian government to protect the Syrian territories and the protection of Syrian citizens, and the International Coalition expressed its intention to fight terrorism and relied on SDF as an ally.

'Syrian regime has opened the way for the terrorist organizations'

Yasser Al-Sulayman, referred to the statements of Damascus government, represented by the statement of Minister of Foreign Affairs, and said: "The regime has forgotten its practices against the Syrian people, and opened the way for terrorist organizations to enter north and east Syria, and the evidence of this is Syrian regime's recent evacuation of its points in Raqqa desert, in order to disperse the resistance of Syria Democratic Forces, especially since the regime described what is happening in Hasaka as a war crime."

Syrian citizens called on SDF to protect them from ISIS mercenaries attacks in Syrian desert, south of Raqqa, Yasser Al-Sulayman believed that the regime should take a patriotic stance and support SDF in fighting ISIS mercenaries.

He added, "We in AANES have no intention of displacing the civilians, but the circumstances have forced civilians to flee because of the war, and they will return to their homes as soon as the danger has passed, and we regret because of Syrian regime's arrest of civilians who were displaced to areas under its control."

Yasser Al-Sulayman confirmed that Damascus government and its withdrawal from its points from Raqqa desert, threatening the security of Autonomous Administration. He added, "The regime sends messages that this region will not enjoy security, and it would have been better for it to allow the entry of medical aid in these harsh situations, so this indicates its weakness in the administration and leadership of this country.

Yasser Al-Sulayman concluded his speech by saying: "Since Syrian government is the internationally recognized government, it should have called in the international forums to take the foreign nationals of ISIS mercenaries and try them in their countries, but it made sure on their presence and investment to pressure on Autonomous Administration to make concessions, but the solidarity of NES people has thwarted all the projects aimed at destabilizing the security and stability in the region."
