SDF is still tightening on ISIS at the walls of Gewern Prison

Internal Security Forces, with the support of Syria Democratic Forces, tightened their control on Al-Sina'a prison in Ghweran neighborhood from outside, while number of prisoners who carried weapons and the mercenaries attacking from outside the prison surrendered to Syria Democratic Forces with intermittent clashes on the prison walls.

For the fourth consecutive day, there are still intermittent clashes between Internal Security Forces of north and east Syria, with the support of SDF, and ISIS mercenaries cells attacking Al-Sina'a prison from outside.

ANHA' correspondent, Akram Barakat, reported from Ghweran neighborhood, south of Hasaka city, that Internal Security Forces, with the support of Syria Democratic Forces, took control of Al-Sina'a prison from the outside, and tightened the noose around it, with intermittent clashes since last night until this morning.

He pointed out that from the evening hours until this morning, Internal Security Forces and SDF continued to send messages to ISIS cells to surrender via loudspeakers, after which a number of prisoners who tried to escape, and the attacking cells from outside surrendered.

SDF are now dealing with the mercenaries who use 700 "Cubs of Cliphate" associated with ISIS as human shields and who were in separate special dormitories inside the prison with the aim of rehabilitating them.
