Calls for the Kurdish people abroad to take squares and denounce Turkey's attacks on Şengal

A member of PYD and an administrator in the Council of Martyrs’ Families in the city of Aleppo condemned the recent attacks on the People’s Assembly in Şengal, and pointed out these attacks aim to exterminate the Yazidis, and called on the people abroad to go to the squares and denounce the practices of the Turkish occupier and the international silence.

Their speech came amid widespread condemnations of the Turkish occupation's attacks on Şengal and administrative , leadership figures and people's institutions. On the 11th of this month, Turkish warplane bombed center of the Xansor district council causing great material damage. This attack came within three days after targeting the co-chair of the Executive Council of Autonomous Administration in Şengal, Marwan Badal, by Turkish air raid, which led to his martyrdom and injury his two children.

Badran Hamo, the member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party in Aleppo, condemned the attack, and said that the Turkish occupation had once again brutality practiced against the Yazidi community. He added, "The Turkish state has an old animosity with the Kurds, and what happened in recent days in Şengal and Xansur proves its hostility, this is a repetition of what happened against them in 2014 at the hands of ISIS mercenaries and the previous decisions . Of course, behind these attacks are strategic goals, a policy of Yazidis extermination, because they are the oldest people in the Middle East.
In the context of his speech, Hamo stressed that the Yazidi people, with the support of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement, stay again and organized themselves despite dozens of massacres that had been practiced against them, and established councils to protect their culture, religion, and their Autonomous Administration ".
Commenting on Xansor attack, Hamo cleared :The council is the people civil council to resolve the people’s differences, and represents the people themselves, this is what Turkey does not like and wants to empty the Şengal district of its residents and thwart will of the Yazidis, it is shameful for the governments of Iraq and Kurdistan to open the borders to exterminate their people.
Concerning the international silence, Hamo said that all Turkish attacks occur under the sight of the international coalition, where the governments of Southern Kurdistan and Iraq, and human rights organization and democracy seem that they are satisfied with what is happening.

Roshan Muhammad, the administrator in the Martyrs' Families Council in Aleppo, said in turn: "The Kurdish people are resistant people, despite the setbacks ,yet they are defying all the difficulties they are facing in terms of assassinations and the attacks of the Turkish occupation."
Roshan pointed out that the Turkish occupation's targeting of national and political figures such as Al- Badal and Sarhad in Şengal is evidence of its weakness, which comes as a result of the economic and political collapse
Roshan continued, "The occupation bombs civilians and the resistant Yazidi people, who sacrificed and resisted ISIS, but it is shameful that all these practices are taking place in front of the silence of the governments of Iraq and South Kurdistan."
In conclusion, Roshan Muhammad called for an international movement to stop the Turkish assaults by saying "We in the Council of Martyrs' Families will follow the footsteps of the martyrs and be on the side of the Yazidis and support them."
Since the 23rd of last April, the Turkish state has launched large-scale attacks on the areas of the Kurdistan region and Şengal district.
