ISIS attacks on Germiyan and Makhmur as well on Kirkuk cost 25 lives in two weeks, as HPG announced it is ready to defend the people of the region against ISIS.

On the issue, author and political researcher Latif Fatih Faraj of Southern Kurdistan said latest attacks carried out by ISIS on some Kirkuk areas are relevant to Iraqi elections and the political vacuum ensued after the elections,  adding that aggravating situation has a role in activating ISIS.

On the reasons behind ISIS re-emergence Faraj said:' the struggle between Kurds and Sunnis, the struggle between Kurds and the Federal Government, impending issues between Kurds and Turkoman as well calls made by the Turkoman Front to exit Kurds from Kirkuk all these create the ground for ISIS to re-emerge. Arabs as well seek to control the city, and the other reason is relevant to oil and a remaining reason is the failure of Kurds and Arabs to live together''.

On the ISIS attacks on the region Faraj says: ' ISIS is a pressing card orchestrated by many great powers such as Turkey by Sunnis and sometimes Kurdish parts may deal with ISIS, sometimes they direct ISIS according to their interests and for pressure''. Adding '' Turkey has the biggest role played for it has aspirations in Kirkuk and has many plots as it happened in Shengal when PDK and Turkey sent ISIS mercenaries to annihilate Yazidis.

On joint operations carried out by the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Faraj said ' many a time both announce they operations against ISIS , when Kazimi was on a visit to Hewler he spoke on a joint military operation against ISIS but up to date no coordination has been reached to destroy this terrorist group''.

''Kurdish forces in Kurdistan Regional Government moves on party interests taking into account political parties in the region, we all saw when ISIS attacked Lahiban Masoud Barzani sent some forces to back locals there. In my opinion, PDK and PUK did not reach an agreement to form a joint force to fight ISIS and are not participants with the Iraqi government  to fight ISIS'', he said.

Since 2003 many countries such as Holland, France, Germany and the U.S.S send military aids and equipment to the Peshmergha Ministry. The same was done with the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS that use to send arms and military aids to the government but always the Peshmergha Ministry complain of luck of arms at a time these equipment are sold in markets in the region, the matter that raises concerns and arouses suspicion, according to Faraj who added 'sending Peshmergha forces to areas held by the guerrilla forces are directed by Turkey and part of its colonial schemes in the region. Personally, I believe this scheme is a Turkish one''.

Faraj went on to say, ''these attacks on Kirkuk are to continue the Arabization policy of the region, since 1960 those areas were taken forcibly in the reign of Saddam Husein, but after 2003 many of its owners returned and again ISIS took these areas by force. The Arabization policy continues and Kurds up to date cannot tackle the issue''.

According to Faraj it was Turkey that poured ISIS onto the region when all neighboring countries closed their borders. Turkey welcomed ISIS elements coming from all around the world. The liberation operation of the Turkish consul in Mosul is a part of this love affair. Under the nose of the whole world Erdogan and his government deal with the terrorist group.

At the end Latif Faraj called on all western countries to put an end to Turkey's crimes: ' up to date U.S. and the West ignore Turkey's acts due to mutual interests. Everybody knows of the love affair between ISIS and Turkey''.
