Leader Ocalan's lawyers apply to meet him

Leader Abdullah Ocalan' lawyers submitted a request to Public Prosecution of Bursa and the administration of Imrali Prison to meet him.

The lawyers (Newroz Usal, Ibrahim Blmes, Mazloum Deng and Serpay Koklo), the Public Prosecution of Bursa and the Directorate of Penal Sanctions Authority in Imrali, visited to meet their client.

Turkish authorities imposed new sanctions against the leader Abdullah Ocalan on November29, banning him from meeting with his lawyers for 6 months, starting from the last October12, and preventing him from meeting the family for 3 months, starting from last August18.

His last meeting took place with lawyers Rizan Sareja and Newroz Usal, on August 7, 2019, and since that date, Turkish authorities have imposed strict isolation on leader Abdullah Ocalan, who has been detained since 1999.

While leader's last contact with outside world was on last March25, during a phone call with his brother, Muhammad Ocalan, that lasted 5 minutes, then the connection was cut off.

The leader was arrested following an international conspiracy, since February15.
