Tozu: Turkish occupation targets Marwan Badal to eradicate the Kurds 

Turkish' occupation drone, on Tuesday afternoon, targeted the car of the co-chair of Autonomous Administration of Shengal, Marwan Badal, in Xanesor district, who was martyred immediately, while his two children were taken to the hospital.

Regarding the targeting, Farouk Tozu, stated that what happened from targeting Marwan Badal is an extension of Turkish occupation state history of attacks and massacres against all Yazidis, not just Shengal.

Tozu noted to ANHA’s agency that the targeting extends from Ottoman Caliphate era, which has always targeted the Yazidis in an attempt to eliminate the Kurds historically and ideologically.

He said, "When they target a social figure from Shengal and in the village in which he lives, it is certainly a message that they are targeting the Yazidis as people and creed, and not, as the media outlets are promoting, that they are targeting a specific political faction".

Tozo pointed out that this targeting reveals the racist intentions of the occupation, by targeting the patriotic figure Youssef Gilo and his two grandchildren, saying: "It is a confirmation of the hysteria they live in, targeting these figures drives the people to stand with each other more and standing against the aggressive tendencies of the Turkish occupying state.”

At the conclusion of his speech, Tozu criticized the Iraqi government silence, regarding Turkish occupation army' crimes on Iraqi lands, describing its position as miserable, and said: "The Iraqi state, which did not hesitate to mention that Shengal is integral part of federal Iraq, but it is in the result the position of the miserable who has no power in its hand. Is this the great Iraq? As for the international situation, it is painful for our people".
