TEV-DEM: The parties that signed the agreement of October 9 are responsible for Turkish crimes in Shengal

TEV DEM issued a statement to public opinion condemning the assassination of co-chair of the Executive Council of Autonomous Administration in Sengal by Turkish occupation, and the statement reads:

"Turkish fascist occupation state did not hesitate for a moment about its dirty and supportive policies for terrorism and publicly by continuing to commit repeated massacres against civilians in Rojava and now in Shengal by carrying out terrorist raids by drones against the will of the Yazidi community in Shengal, and committing a horrific crime against the co-chair of Autonomous-Administration family, the martyr Marwan Badal, known as (Djwar Feqer) and the serious injury of 2 of his children by spies, traitors, and those who deal with the worst enemies of humanity".

Justice and Development government has proven its criminality by expanding the scope of its war against the will of the people, and targeting Yezidi leadership figures repeatedly in Shengal to include the killing of children, it is a dirty and systematic policy to empty Shengal of its people, and not to allow the Yazidis displaced to return from the camps of Southern Kurdistan, to open the way for the return of ISIS terrorists again. But their targeting of Shengal is to help the spread of terrorism again, such as targeting Qarajokh mountains in Southern Kurdistan. The criminal Turkish fascist targeting comes put pressure on Yazidi society, impose its immoral policy and authority, and breaking the will of the Yazidis, which has become impossible because they adhere to their history and culture, and a society suffered from 73 bloody genocides and today has become a society that has the will and determination towards building a free, democratic Yezidi society more than before.

"We in TEV-DEM hold the parties that signed October 9 agreement last year insist on striking and undermining the will of the Yazidis".

On October 9, 2020, the Kurdistan Democratic Party signed an agreement with Iraqi government to impose control over Shengal, America and United Nations support the agreement, which did not observe the Yezidi administration in Shengal. The statement held "the international community responsible for the attacks that take place in Shengal against the will of the peoples of the region".  

The statement called on "Kurdish and Yazidi society in general to insist on unifying moral stances to raise the pace of struggle everywhere against the dirty policies that happen against the will of the Yazidi community".
