AA in Şengal: We hold government of Iraq, KDP responsible for Turkish attack

 Today, a Turkish occupation drone targeted the car of the co-chair of the Executive Council of Şengal, Marwan Badal Khodida, accompanied by his two children. 

 “it meant to carry out the attack on Mubarak’s day.”

 “The attack took place on a holy day for the Yezidis; the first day of the Yezidis fasting.  Our friend Marawan left instead of the house to spend the holidays with his children.  He was also with his sons Donia Marwan (11) and Dejla Marwan when the attack occurred.  We know very well that the occupying Turkish state, has deliberately chosen this holy day to make our most sacred day, our most important day, an even more painful and painful day.”

 “This attack is a continuation of the October 9 agreement.”

 We affirm that this attack is a continuation of the plots and conspiracies against Şingal. The attack is part of the October 9 agreement.  This attack is a continuation of the martyrdom of Mam Zaki, Zardasht and Saeed Hassan. We know very well from all these attacks that the enemy’s goal is to destroy the pillars of the Yazidi community, the Yazidi house.  And because the Yazidis want to rule their holy land of their own free will.

 “He fought a great struggle for Şingal”

 Our comrade Marwan Badal was also one of those who sacrificed everything they had for the existence of the Yazidis, and he confronted the ISIS gangs since the beginning of the genocide, and joined the ranks of the Shingal resistance units.  From that day till his martyrdom, he worked tirelessly to organize, protect, and build a free life for the Yazidi community.

 “It is the people who choose it.”

 The martyr Marwan Badal was elected as the co-chair of the Board of Directors of Şengal in the fourth conference of the Independent Democratic Assembly of Şengal.  He did his best to live up to this sacred mission.  So we say that their goal is to target the Yazidi community.  The attack on him is a major attack on the Yazidi community to surrender their will.

 “These attacks will not break our will.”

 With the martyrdom of our comrade Marwan Badal, we assure once again to our friends and enemies that no one can break our will through these attacks.  Our hatred against the enemy is stronger than ever, and our faith is too.  Since the martyr Marwan Badal resisted in the face of any attack, conspiracy or plot, we also say that his martyrdom strengthened our struggle.  We promise once again to struggle and take revenge for our community.  And we will remain on the path of our martyrs until the end.

 “The attack carried out by the Turkish state bears responsibility for Iraq”

 We would like to inform everyone that although this attack was carried out by the occupying Turkish state, we hold the Iraqi government responsible for this attack.  The Iraqi government must be held accountable for this attack on the Yazidi community.  Had it not been for the Iraqi government's stance against the enemies of the Yazidis, the ISIS gangs would not have been able to attack Şengal, and the occupying Turkish state would not have been able to target the leaders of the Yezidi community, from Mam Zaki to Said Hassan and Marwan Badal.  This silence of the Iraqi government emboldens our enemies and paves the way for these attacks, and once again we hold the KDP responsible for this attack.  The Kurdistan Democratic Party sees its existence in the presence of the Turkish state.

 “Call to show response to these attacks”

 We tell all the enemies of the Yazidis as well as our friends that no attack can break the will of our people.  No attack can stop us from fighting for an independent and free Shingal.  On this basis, we call on the entire Yazidi community to express their will more than ever.  We invite all our people to attend the funeral ceremony of Marwan Badal tomorrow and respond forcefully to the enemy.  The work of the martyr Marwan Badal in his community until his martyrdom.  We believe that our people will also come out with solemn ceremonies and strengthen their struggle more than ever.
