PYD condemns assassination of the co-chair of Şingal's Autonomous Administration Council

 This came through a statement issued by the General Council of the Democratic Union Party denouncing the crime of assassinating the co-chair of the Democratic Autonomous Administration Council in Şengal, "Marwan Badal", in an air attack by a drone of the Turkish occupation, and said in the statement:

 In parallel with the attacks of ISIS against our people in Başûr, and in a criminal step and in a brutal and terrorist manner, the Turkish occupation state represented by the merger of the fascist alliance MHP_AKP once again in its pursuit of genocide against the Kurdish people and its historical roots by targeting the co-presidency of the Council of Democratic Autonomous Administration in Şengal “Marwan Badal” in an air attack by a drone on his civilian car with his two children in Khansour district of Şingal district.

The martyr was one of the most important figures who established the democratic Autonomous Administration  in Şingal and has a great struggle in his defense of our people and the Yazidi component against the terrorist organizations that tried to uproot the Kurdish people from their historical land and fought the terrorist organization ISIS when it massacred our Yazidi people in Şingal.

 The insistence of Turkish fascism on its attempts to exterminate the Kurdish people and its ancient components will only increase the insistence of our people on resistance, sacrifice and steadfastness in its presence on its historical land and to fight terrorist organizations affiliated with the criminal Turkish regime, just as the international silence on the Turkish regime’s use of modern deadly technology against our people in Kurdistan does not  It only expresses their tacit approval of these terrorist acts against the Kurdish people.

 We in the General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) call on the international community, democratic institutions and the free people of the world to condemn the Turkish regime and its actions that fall within the contexts of systematic genocide against the Kurdish people and all components of the region and international conventions.
