Karayilan: Guerilla forces reaches new level, renews measures in face of advanced technologies

In conjunction with the anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), a member of the Leadership Committee of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, Murat Karayilan, spoke to Stêrk TV during a special program, where he touched on the resistance of the guerrilla fighters against the Turkish occupation army.

 Guerrilla gained experience and achieved unexpected results

 Karayilan added: "Guerilla has thirty-eight years of experience and the Kurdistan Workers' Party has forty-three years of experience, and it has prepared on this basis and achieved results that were not expected by modernizing the methods of war and the abusive spirit of guerrillas. All the resistances that took place were not ordinary, to the extent that the enemy was surprised, and to achieve the results, it used the Kurdistan Democratic Party to cause infighting, but failed in that. It is more correct that the correct leadership that is based on the guerrilla stance and the modern tactics at this time has developed to a certain level.

 We didn't have big losses

 He also continued: "In the areas in which we fought, we did not have great losses, in Werxile, during 120 days, we did not have any losses, while many enemy soldiers were killed, and therefore we will resist and have the strength, we can defeat this enemy in the areas of Zagros, Bahdinan and Botan and our reality. This indicates that, we are not talking in vain. It is the battlefields that say that. We defeated it now and we will defeat him from now on, because we drew some results. This resistance was new to us.  In short, during this year’s war, we gained great experiences in combat, and we are now striving to teach all comrades on these experiences, and for this we do the necessary and necessary work, constantly renewing ourselves, in my opinion, if we attack two armies of the Turkish state, we will defeat them.”

The Turkish state used five types of chemical weapons

 He said that the Turkish state has so far used five types of chemical weapons, carbon dioxide gas made from tabun, asphyxiating gas made from chlorine, burning phosphorous gas, gas causing paralysis and loss of consciousness, and pepper gas that is used  in popular protests.

 Karayilan added that they have taken all measures in the face of all kinds of advanced technology, the air force, and the KDP's complicity with the Turkish occupation, and the resistance continues.

 And he said in his speech, “His men made heroic epics, where the enemy was saying:" they would flee and be defeated, but they did not succeed in that, after which they said we will bomb them with chemical weapons and they will perish because they knew that when Saddam’s regime used chemical weapons in 1988, we can say that the whole of southern Kurdistan  I emptied, and they thought they would do the same, but they didn't succeed either."

 Karayilan added: “I can give an example from the resistance of his legions: in the beginning there was a large group of comrades in his foothills, after these comrades fought there for a long time, the decision was made by the leadership to reduce the number almost in half, on this basis they resisted for 120 days. These comrades were always attacking the enemy soldiers, striking at these soldiers, seizing their weapons, and tons of explosives, and of course these explosives were used later against the enemy, that is, they turned into a fortress. The battle took place on its four sides, there the enemy used many weapons against the comrades, and here it is not permissible for me to disclose how the comrades dealt with these attacks, but then, according to our estimates, they brought various types of chemical weapons from several countries and used them against the comrades, as a result of which ten comrades were martyred, including Comrade Comali and Comrade Jafri.

He also said: "What did the remaining comrades do, they asked for support to continue the resistance, in fact, there was a lack of food, they had relations with the comrades, these comrades did not say that our comrades and our leaders were martyred and we will withdraw, they wanted to continue, and they resisted for 15 days, in total it continued  This resistance lasted for 135 days, after which a decision was issued by the leadership to withdraw from the area.

 When it is said that the enemy has been defeated, and this is not a word that is said like this, it was defeated by work and with great difficulties and efforts and with preparations for years. On this basis, the enemy understood that the PKK is not a small party or an easy prey, and it is not easy to raid it and occupy its areas, as it used all kinds of  His weapons and the most powerful military units, this time he brought in mercenaries and their dogs trained at the highest level and attached cameras to their heads to achieve results, they tried all methods and did not succeed.
