People's Defense Forces (HPG) announced the killing of 3 soldiers of the Turkish occupation during a specific operation in the Zap area of ​​the legitimate defense areas in Başûr (South Kurdistan) on the 2nd of November.

This came during a statement by HPG Media Centre, reported by Furat news agency, on Wednesday.

The statement read: "At 3:30 hours on 2 November, our forces carried out a qualitative operation against Turkish occupation soldiers in the Castle Badweh area of Zap, within the framework of the Zagros Revolutionary Hawks campaign.

This successful operation, which was carried out by the Guerilla Forces, resulted in the killing of at least 3 Turkish occupation soldiers, the destruction of their stationing point, and the destruction of a camera and a wireless device.

The statement also said: "At exactly the ninth hour of the second of November, the Turkish occupation army bombed the Girê Martyr Sharif area in Khakurk and the Girê Martyr Simko area in Zap, with war helicopters."
