Ara Ashgian: Turkey's NES threats continuation of genocidal policies

Armenian scholar Ara Ashgian condemned the Turkish threats made against north eastern Syria indicating they are an indication of the process of the genocidal policies that was adopted by the Ottoman Empire and Turkey against Kurds, Armenians, Syriacs and Arabs.

In an interview with ANHA, Armenian scholar based in Yerevan, Ara Ashjiyan said :' we condemned in the strongest words the Turkish threats made against north eastern Syria and all countries that interfere in its issues''.

The Armenian scholar indicated ''Turkey poses real dangers to the peace and security of the region and the world at large by seeking to put into action its aspirations in the region and supporting terrorist organizations''.

''they are ill omens of continuation by Turkey the process of the genocidal policies that was embraced by the Ottoman Empire and later Turkey against Kurds, Armenians, Syriacs and Arabs.

Ara Ashgian called on the international community and all peace seeking and loving powers all over the world to stop Turkey from putting into action it hostile policies.
