Mass protests held in the Jazira Region against Turkish threats

Turkish strikes vi drones led to martyrdom in Kobane of five persons; two civilians and three SDF fighters on October 20 and 23 respectively amid an international silence by the international community.

Today, thousands of people of both Hasaka and Qamishlo cantons took to the streets to condemn threats posed by Turkish occupation forces on NES.

In Amuda, protesters denounced the threats posed by Turkish occupation state calling for a no fly zone that would give protection to people in North eastern Syria.

Protesters called on Russia to bear its duty as a guarantor state in the region, ''Targeting Civilians is a Crime against Humanity'', one banner read, as another read'' Russia is the Guarantor in the Region for which it is Responsible for Turkish Encroachment''.

In a speech made by Kongra Star Coordination Newroz said '' people in the District of Amuda will not remain hands folded in case of any Turkish attack that seeks to strike at the democratic nation idea that was established thanks to the Autonomous Administratio0n of North and East Syria''.

In the same relation, in the city of Derik a mass protest was held by people of the region chanting slogans '' Down With Erdogan'' calling for an end to breaches committed against civilians.

In a speech delivered by PYD's Hesen Hemza he said ''Turkey hatches plots and conspiracies against  NES to strike at the democratic nation project'', we will proceed woth our resistance against attacks and plots''.

In Tirbe Spiye, a mass protest was held by people on the region against Turkish threats where protesters called for termination of Turkish attacks on the NES stressing as well their resistance against any bid of occupation.

In Tal Tamr of the Hasaka Canton people called for installing a no fly zone to deter Turkish attacks and that could protect civilians in the NES.

After a minute of silence was observed Mohamed Sa'id Sheikmous on behalf of the Tal Tamr Council made a speech saying :''it is ten years and the Tal Tamr people are open to attacks, this city has become a bastion for resistance''.

Sheikhmous added that Turkey has never committed to the ceasefire agreements after both See Kaniye and Gire Spi were occupied rather its attacks on the region and breaches to agreement are proceeding''.

Sheikhmous called at the end the active powers and the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS to stop Turkish air strikes and raids on the region.
