Qassas: Any new Turkish attack won't be an easy walk.

 Erdogan threatens to attack regions north and eastern Syria in a recent statement at a news conference after he heads a government meeting in the presidential palace in the 11th of October.

In response to these threats, the head of the Modernity and Democracy Party, Firas Qissas, told our agency that Erdogan's recent statements and threats are "a continuation of the aggressive and criminal pattern of Turkish policy regarding the Autonomous Administration areas."

 He added, "These threats contain nothing new, perhaps, except for the  gangster side that overshadowed his choice of his words as the content of the threat. Erdogan now realizes that he is not free as before, because the circumstances that could have previously been exploited have changed."

From Qassas' point of view, "the US policy towards the Autonomous Administration's areas is clear, stable, and decisive in terms of rejecting any Turkish aggression against them."

 Al-Qassas stressed that any possible Turkish attack will be met by the resistance of the SDF and people, "the Syrian Democratic Forces have become more experienced in any possible confrontation with the Turkish enemy, and any new Turkish attempt of this kind will never be an easy go, and all of this makes Erdogan's threats a scream in the air."

 The head of the Modernity and Democracy Party added: "The forces and components of the Autonomous Administration regions deal with these threats as they should, in terms of military, political and psychological preparedness, and will not allow in any way the Turks and their agents to repeat the scenario of Serêkani and Tal Abyad without Erdogan paying a price that he cannot  possibility."

 He added that the components and forces of the Autonomous Administration are all united today more than ever, not only to confront any Turkish aggression, but also to do everything possible and available to restore the occupied areas and end the Turkish presence in them.

 Firas Qassas concluded his speech by saying, "Erdogan will not succeed in his criminal endeavors again, but the steadfastness of our regions in the face of his crime will be the nail in the coffin of the Justice and Development Party in Turkish political life."
