TEV-DEM calls upon the Kurdish people to prevent PKD to commit new crime against them

The Movement for Democratic Society issued a written statement regarding the movements of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and its attempts to bring its military forces into Shengal.

The text of the statement reads:

"The Kurdistan Democratic Party continues to pursue its conspiratorial policies against the Yazidi community in Shengal, taking advantage of the conditions of the election campaign with the intention of re-mobilizing and deploying its forces in Shengal and controlling their free will, after this party caused a humanitarian disaster as a result of its forces fleeing in 2014 from Shengal, leaving the Yazidi community alone in confronting the machine of terrorism, which caused the captivity of Yazidi women, the massacre and killing of thousands of Yazidi women, children and the elderly, and the perpetration of a massacre against them by ISIS.

We notice that PKD movements around the outskirts of Shengal that are considered as threat to free will of Yazidi has a great negative influence and dangerous at the same time aimed at creating sedition between the Yazidi community that may cause in committing horrible crime to complete what ISIS failed to do in Shengal, and for the PDK to end the presence and occupation of Yazidis in Shengal with the direct support of the fascist Turkish occupation, and work to implement the terms of the fateful October 9^th, 2020 agreement between Baghdad and Hewler under Turkish supervision, obstructing the true representation of the will of the Yazidis in the elections.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party seeks to draw society's attention to Shengal in order to hide its political and military failures that inflicted on it as a result of its dealings with the Turkish occupation state against the resistance of the great guerrilla.

We in the TEV-DEM appeal to our Kurdish society in general and Yazidis in particular to make all possible efforts and mobilize all our capabilities and to rally around the gains and achievements that have been achieved thanks to the great sacrifices and modern resistance shown by our Yazidi community in Shengal, to put an end to the policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which will commit a historical sin Another and a new firman against the Yazidis.

We also appeal to all Kurdish national, political and social forces to assume their moral and patriotic responsibilities towards the policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party towards Shengal and the Yazidis.
