Lukman Ahmi calls upon KRG to take firm decision against strugglers' assassinations

In response to these ongoing Turkish attacks targeting strugglers of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement, ANHA agency met with the co-chair of the Green Democratic Party, Lukman Ahmi.

Targeting strugglers is a strategic goal of the Turkish occupation

About the recent Turkish attacks targeting Kurd strugglers, Lukman has shown that targeting Kurdish liberation fighters has become a strategic objective of the Turkish occupation.

He called on that everyone must be vigilant towards the Turkish policies, these, adding," targeting the strugglers by Turkish occupation started from Rojava areas, Now, Turkey is continuing in implementing its policies in Southern Kurdistan also." 

"The Kurdish parties serving the Turkish occupation must be aware that they will be prey of the Turkish occupation tomorrow, in the event that their policies are not reviewed, demanding that" the Kurdish parties unite against the clients that Turkey has deployed in the region, because any victory of the Turkish occupation will expose the Kurdish people to further massacres."

He called on the Kurdistan Regional Government, KRG to clarify its position urgently on repeated Turkish attacks targeting Kurdish strugglers: "The perpetrators must be sought and held accountable, and what they have done and who supports them must be made public."

Touching upon to the involvement of the PDK forces in the fighting alongside the Turkish occupation, Lakman Ahmi pointed out that what has been done by mercenaries against Shukri Roj is not right, wondering," How can they open the way for the enemies of the Kurdish people? How can they remove mines planted by Kurdish fighters in order to prevent the progression of the Turkish occupation to attack Kurdistan freedom movement areas?

He added that the removing the mines is not their duty, if they had a duty to protect the residents of the occupied areas of Afrin, Tal Abyed and Ras al-Ain, and to fight the Turkish occupation, he said: "It is not their task to attack Kurdish forces fighting for the protection of the rights of the Kurdish people."
