For the 3rd day, settlement operations continue in Daraa al-Balad

The settlement operations of the local militants continue in the city of Daraa al-Balad for the third consecutive day, in implementation of the terms of the last agreement.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the province of Daraa continues to experience a cautious calm in all regions, in particular the Daraa al-Balad within the city, on the third day of the Russian-sponsored implementation of the terms of the latter agreement. Settlements continue to be made to local armed men, civilians and others required for compulsory and reserve service, amid information that the dissidents have been granted a period of 3 months to join.

Observatory added that other provisions of the agreement, such as the launching of military posts for Damascus Government forces and the Russian military police and the beginning of house searches, are expected to begin.

Observatory indicated that about 100 people made a “settlement” within Daraa al-Balad in the city of Daraa from yesterday morning until before sunset on the same day, within the framework of implementing the terms of the last agreement.
