MMC fighters: We not to allow any enemy to underestimate our city's security, stability

The populated northern and western villages of Manbij witness shelling by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries with heavy weapons on an almost daily basis, resulting in human and material losses in civilian property.

While the fighters of the Manbij Military Council are stationed on the fronts, watching over the safety of the people from any infiltration of the occupation mercenaries into the city of Manbij and its villages, ANHA met on the front lines with a number of fighters in Arab Hassen village, 22 km northwest of Manbij, who confirmed that they would not allow any enemy or occupier to prejudice the security and stability of their city.

Fighter Hussein Awni, a fighter of the Manbij Military Council, says that the Turkish occupation's shelling usually begins in the late hours of the night or in the early morning with the aim of spreading fear and terror among civilians living on the line of contact.

He made it clear that the occupation is launching its bombardment with heavy weapons from its bases stationed in the occupied Syrian areas, targeting civilians' homes, property and livestock, causing great damage.

Awni confirmed that the Turkish bombardment with mortars and heavy artillery is focused on the populated villages on an almost daily basis, stressing that they in the Manbij Military Council are stationed on the battlefronts to defend the city until the last breath of their lives and to preserve and protect the martyrs' gains.

Fighter Mahmoud Hassen explains that the Turkish occupation does not respect the sanctity of civilians living on the front lines, targeting them day and night with mortars, causing severe damage to their property and livelihood.

He added, "We are on the front lines and will not allow any enemy or occupier to undermine the security and stability of our city which we liberated thanks to the blood of our martyrs."

At the conclusion of his speech, he stresses that they are following the martyrs' footsteps in preserving the dignity of the land and the homeland.
