Afrin people protest strict isolation on leader Ocalan

Under the slogan "In the spirit of August 15, we will liberate leader Apo," hundreds of Afrin residents gathered in Tal Susin village in al-Shahba canton.

The demonstrators carried pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and banners reading "We condemn the ECHR silence towards the isolation on Imrali", "You cannot block our sun", "Where is your democracy and humanity towards the leader of humanity Abdullah Ocalan."

The demonstration began with the people chanting slogans saluting the resistance of Apo in Imrali prison and Afrin people in the camps and semi-destroyed houses.

The demonstrators held a minute of silence, after which the co-chair of the Afrin Canton Council, Zulukh Bakr, delivered a speech in which she condemned the silence of the European Human Rights Court towards the strict isolation imposed by the Turkish authorities on Leader.

She said that this isolation aims to end his thought and philosophy and limit its spread, stressing that all countries of the world know that his freedom, all outstanding issues in the Middle East will be resolved.

At the conclusion of her speech, Zulukh Bakr called on the European Court of Human Rights to carry out its humanitarian and moral duty towards leader Abdullah Ocalan and break the isolation ofTurkey.

The demonstration ended with chanting slogans that revive the resistance of the age.
