There is no difference between PDK and Turkish occupation in fighting Kurds

On the 26^th of last July, the forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party launched an attack on a group of guerrillas in the village of Beykham in Khalifan district of Southern Kurdistan, and the fate of the group's fighters is not known.

Member of the Democratic Union Party, Abdel Salam Hesso, explained that the PDK's history is repeating itself, describing it as "treason." He said, "The policy pursued by the PDK in Southern Kurdistan is an authoritarian policy that prevails over family and personal interests."

Hesso pointed out that the PDK's policy has a significant impact on Kurds and on parts of Kurdistan in general, adding, "The Turkish occupation state is trying to besiege the Kurdish Liberation Movement from a military, cultural and intellectual point of view, and the attacks on legitimate defense zones are the result of the policies and complicity of the Kurdistan Democratic Party with the occupation state."

Combating democracy

Hesso pointed out that the PDK, in collusion with the Turkish occupation state, is fighting democracy and peoples' attempts to gain their freedom, and this is clearly evident in the methods and goals pursued by both parties. He continued, " when Authoritarian regimes try to strengthen their power to control peoples, they depend on personalities and organizations from these peoples, and this is what we see in the Kurdistan Democratic Party which has become a tool for Turkey's installation in Southern Kurdistan."

PDK policy negatively affects Southern Kurdistan

Hesso noted that the policy of the Kurdistan Democratic Party negatively and directly affects the land of Southern Kurdistan, "when a referendum was held in Southern Kurdistan, Turkey was the first to oppose this referendum, and it said at that time, I will besiege Southern Kurdistan's Kurds, and did not say I will besiege Masoud Barzani."

The Government of Southern Kurdistan held a referendum on independence from the Government of Iraq on September 25, 2017.

Guerilla is the protector of all parts of Kurdistan

Hesso indicated that the People's Defense Forces are the protective force for all parts of Kurdistan, and said, "When ISIS attacked Southern Kurdistan and was on the outskirts of Hewler, Masoud Barzani, President of the Government of Southern Kurdistan at the time appealed to the People's Defense Forces which responded directly to the call to stand in the face of ISIS' threat."

Targeting Guerrillas is treason

Hesso stressed that the PDK's targeting of the Guerilla forces is a "betrayal", and went on to wonder how they would attack the forces that defended it? (in an indication to the Kurdistan Democratic Party).

At the conclusion of his speech, Hesso called on the people of Southern Kurdistan to realize the reality of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's plans which they are hatching with the Turkish occupation state. He added, "They are working to exterminate the Kurdish people, and they implement the Millî Charter, and this was clear through the martyrdom of guerillas, the establishment of Turkish military bases in Southern Kurdistan, in addition to placing Southern Kurdistan's economy under its authority, and rejecting the Autonomous Administration project in Shengal."

Attacks on Guerilla are in the interest of the occupation and PDK

In turn, Member of the Democratic Society Academy, Hussein Hamawi, stressed that Turkish attacks in collusion with the Kurdistan Democratic Party are not new in the legitimate defense zones, adding, "There are agreements between them that are clarified through joint attacks on the legitimate defense zones, targeting the People's Defense Forces, and kidnapping representatives of the Autonomous Administration and the Democratic Union Party, noting that "these agreements are in the interest of both parties."

Hamawi pointed out that the Turkish occupation state and the Kurdistan Democratic Party have goals, and he went on to explain these goals by saying, "The first wants to continue attacks on the Kurdish people, exterminate them and prevent them from forming their own reference, and the second wants to preserve its family interests and entity in exchange for the implementation of the goals for which they were formed."

There is no difference between the Turkish occupation and the PDK in fighting the Kurdish people

He noted that there is no difference between the Turkish occupation and the Kurdistan Democratic Party in fighting the Kurdish people, and said, "Turkey entered the Middle East under the guise of Islam and the Islamic conquests to control it, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party works according to what its personal interests dictate under the guise that it is a Kurdish force that preserves the interests of the Kurdish people."

Hamawi added, "In Rojava, when the Kurdish dialogue resumes, the parties associated with the Kurdistan Democratic Party obstruct this dialogue after each visit to Southern Kurdistan."

Hussein al-Hamawi saw that the people of Southern Kurdistan need an uprising and revolution to get rid of the authoritarian regimes, and concluded, "The people of Southern Kurdistan suffered before from the Iraqi Baath regime and now from the authorities of Southern Kurdistan, but they have experience and a large part of them want to liberate Kurdistan."
