​​​​​​​Idris Younis: Our representatives kidnapping reminded us of ruling countries' actions

The Kurdistan Democratic Party has still been holding the representative of the Autonomous Administration and two members of the Democratic Union Party Relations since 47 days, while they were on their way to Hewler Airport to receive guests.

Despite the Autonomous Administration and the Democratic Union Party's demands from the regional government to release them, the latter has not yet clarified the reasons for the abduction, while the fate of the abductees is still anonymous.

Member of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Tel Tamr district, Idris Younis, expressed his rejection of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's policies and denounced the abduction of representatives of their party and the Democratic Autonomous Administration, and said in this regard, "Kurdistan Region is part of Greater Kurdistan, and we, as a political party, fight diplomatically and seek to make our people gain their rights, but we have seen that the regional government has adopted the policy of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) by arresting Kurdish politicians and preventing them from expression and political action."

It is the Turkish MIT approach that arrests Kurdish politicians

He added, "When our representatives were abducted, we remembered the Turkish MIT and its policies against the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) representatives and politicians, and we do not rule out the Turkish occupation and its intelligence participation in the process of our representatives' abduction in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan)."

The regional government's actions got us back to history when we were arrested by the ruling countries

Younis continued his speech, saying, "The actions of the Democratic Party and its abduction of our representatives brought us back when our Kurdish people used to be arrested by the Syrian regime because of talking about Kurdish nationalism, and the Iranian regime which is executing our Kurdish youth until now, so we see that the abduction of our representatives poses a great danger, as it is adopting the policy of former enemies of Kurds."

At the end of his speech, Younis called on the Kurdistan Democratic Party not to be drawn into tricks hostile to the Kurdish people's benefit, to reveal their representatives' fate and release them.
